  • Nutrition consultants to XL Vets: the UK’s largest cooperative of veterinary practices
  • Organising and running the following:
    • Feeding the Dairy Cow Part I: Somerset, UK
    • Feeding the Dairy Cow Part II:  Biarritz, France
    • Managing Periparturient Disease: Lyon, France
    • The Annual Large Herds Conference
  • Providing expert advice in legal cases in the fields of nutrition and biosecurity
  • Involved in ongoing research for leading pharmaceutical companies in product development
  • Involved in assessing novel feed additives for leading premix companies
  • Providing farmer training on behalf of the Milk Development Council on:
    • Milk Quality
    • Lameness
    • Fertility

 

  • Conducting our own research projects on urinary macrominerals, milk fever and fat mobilisation in the periparturient cow & working on novel solutions to fresh cow disease prevention
  • EBVC are currently the partners and/or actively participating in four of the DEFRA herd health and planning initiatives that are taking place nationwide currently until March 2008
  • Providing technical support and training to leading feed compounders
