about EBVC
Both James and Richard are veterinary surgeons who have each specialised in the nutrition of dairy cows, each having over eight years experience in clinical veterinary practice before focusing solely on consultancy and training. Both held residencies in Ruminant Medicine at Bristol University.
James has attained the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon’s Diploma in Cattle health and Production, one of only a handful of vets to do so. He also currently holds a special lectureship in Ruminant Medicine at the new Nottingham University Vet School and is a Diplomate of the European College of Bovine Health Management.
Richard holds the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon’s Certificate in Cattle health and Production and has two years experience working for Dugdale Nutrition, one of the UK’s leading regional compounders of ruminant feed. He left Dugdales in 2005 to set up the independent nutrition consultancy ‘Appetite’ which became EBVC with James in 2006.
